Working closely with our principals Haskel and Nova Swiss, we are able to offer high pressure gas compression systems for charging Hydrogen gas storage facilities at pressures as high as 350 bar, 700 bar and 1,000 bar. Special materials are required for Hydrogen gas service, especially considering the problems of embrittlement as high pressures. We take great care in selecting the most appropriate components, such as high pressure valves, connectors, fittings, tubing, to ensure materials compatibility with high pressure Hydrogen gas.

Our Hydrogen gas compression systems range from relatively low-flow compressed air driven systems as suitable for pilot/small-fleet H2 FCV filling facilities, to high-flow electro-hydraulically driven systems suitable for commercial refuelling. Modelled around the Haskel Nano and Nano Pro, the smaller air-driven Hydrogen gas compression systems have specialized Hydrogen-version gas boosters. These boosters are driven with Haskel’s special air driven gas boosters incorporating seals and gas section materials specifically engineered to transfer high purity Hydrogen gas. These units require a source of clean, dry compressed air for operation and 1-phase control electric power and allow some level of flexibility in that, if required, the driving compressor can be placed separately at a short distance from the Hydrogen gas compression system. These small systems are easily serviced thanks to the Haskel air-driven gas boosters and, if necessary, can be equipped with redundant boosters (W + S) to ensure minimal downtime for maintenance.
