Air Driven Pumps &
Air Driven Gas Boosters

Haskel is the world’s leading manufacturer of air driven liquid pumps and gas boosters. Having commenced activities manufacturing hydraulic power packs in 1947. Haskel, in 1954, introduced  the first commercially available hydraulically driven non-lubricated gas booster capable of developing 10,000 psi pressure. Thereafter, since the 1970s, Haskel air driven hydraulic pumps   and gas boosters have built an enviable international reputation for excellent quality and reliability.

Stephen Balaram Engineering have been working with the highly reputed Haskel product line since the year 1974 and are counted amongst Haskel’s longest serving distributors worldwide. Over the years, across India, SBE have been specifying Haskel air driven pumps and air driven gas boosters, wherever applications demand the use of this specialist technology and providing Haskel spare parts backed up by professional after-sales repair service conducted by a team of highly trained service engineers with years of experience.

Haskel air driven liquified gas pumps are known worldwide for efficient pumping of liquified gases such as those used for refrigerants – ie. R134a, R34, Hfo1234, etc. as typically found in automotive air conditioning systems and for fire-fighting – ie. FM200 and, now discontinued, Halon 1301. Haskel models 59015 & 59025 in particular and, earlier, Haskel AAD-5 are some well reputed models with proven reliability in pumping refrigerants for industrial production/ filling plants. Older Fire fighting fluids such as Halon 1301 are typically recovered/scavenged using the same model pumps, in accordance with the prevailing green /global warming prevention requirements.
